About Jessica McNally, PT, DPT
Welcome! I’m Jessica McNally, a pelvic floor physical therapist in Morristown, New Jersey, dedicated to helping women restore strength, confidence, and comfort in their bodies. I specialize in pelvic floor physical therapy, postpartum recovery, and women’s wellness, providing personalized, one-on-one care designed to support long-term healing and movement.
As a Doctor of Physical Therapy and certified yoga teacher (200 RYT), I blend evidence-based treatment with mindful movement to help my clients reconnect with their bodies and return to the activities they love — without pain or fear.
I earned my B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Scranton in 2017 and my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami in 2020. My own yoga journey began with the physical practice, but over time, I discovered its deeper benefits for mental and emotional health. Yoga has been a grounding force for me during challenging times, helping me manage stress and anxiety — lessons I now share with my clients.
In each session, I combine therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and mindful yoga-based techniques such as soft tissue mobilization and myofascial release to promote healing, balance, and whole-body wellness.
Whether you’re navigating postpartum changes, managing pelvic pain, or simply seeking a deeper connection to your body, my goal is to guide you toward lasting recovery and confidence.
Although I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy, my approach to care is deeply holistic and individualized. During your initial evaluation, I assess key areas such as posture, range of motion, motor control, strength, and functional mobility to understand the root cause of your symptoms.
If you’re recovering from an injury or pelvic floor dysfunction, I’ll guide you through a personalized treatment plan to restore movement, reduce pain, and help you return to your previous level of function. Even if you’re not currently injured, physical therapy can enhance performance, prevent future issues, and improve overall quality of life. My goal is to help you move with confidence, reconnect with your body, and return to the activities you love — all within a supportive, one-on-one setting in Morristown, New Jersey.

Myofascial Release
I practice a technique called Barnes’ Myofascial Release (MFR) — a safe, gentle, and highly effective hands-on therapy used to relieve pain, improve mobility, and restore balance throughout the body. I was trained by Dr. Carol Davis at the University of Miami, who worked directly with John F. Barnes, the founder of the Myofascial Release approach.
During each session, I apply gentle, sustained pressure to the myofascial connective tissue to release restrictions that may be causing pain or limiting movement. Unlike traditional massage, Myofascial Release is performed directly on the skin without oils, creams, or tools. This allows me to accurately feel fascial restrictions and apply the precise amount of pressure needed to encourage natural release and healing.
This technique integrates seamlessly into my pelvic floor physical therapy and women’s wellness sessions in Morristown, NJ, helping clients reduce tension, improve alignment, and experience long-lasting relief.
Fascia is a specialized connective tissue system that forms a continuous, web-like network throughout the entire body — much like a delicate spider’s web. It surrounds and supports every muscle, bone, nerve, artery, vein, and internal organ, including the heart, lungs, brain, and spinal cord.
What makes the fascial system unique is its continuity. Rather than separate layers, it’s one interconnected structure extending from head to toe without interruption. Because of this, tightness or restriction in one area can create pain or dysfunction elsewhere in the body.
Understanding this whole-body connection is at the heart of myofascial release therapy, a core part of my holistic pelvic floor physical therapy approach designed to promote lasting recovery, movement, and wellness for women.
