Welcome! My name is Jessie and I am a physical therapist and yoga teacher (200 RYT) . I specialize in pelvic floor physical therapy, treating the prenatal and postpartum population as well as males. I also treat general orthopedic conditions. I received my B.S degree in Exercise Science from the University of Scranton in 2017 followed by my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami in 2020. Like many others, my yoga journey began with the physical practice and over the years I began to learn about the various health benefits from not only the physical practice but other aspects of yoga. During difficult periods of my life yoga helped keep me grounded and manage my anxiety. I love to use my knowledge of yoga to guide my physical therapy practice. In addition to therapeutic exercise, I like to use traditional manual techniques such as soft tissue mobilization and myofascial release.

Although I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy, I use a holistic approach to health and wellness. An evaluation allows me to identify physical impairments such as posture, range of motion, motor control, strength, and functional mobility. If you are recovering from an injury I will help you recover optimally and return to your previous level of function. Even without injury, I can help you improve your current level of function and improve your quality of life by returning to the activities you love to do.
